Lane Elder is an Atlanta native with 5+ years of professional communications experience. She’s experienced in telling stories through a variety of mediums, from her time in the newsroom as a digital news editor, to becoming social media gal behind multiple local businesses, to becoming a manager for all things marketing at a local non-profit.

In her time in the non-profit sector, Lane noticed how so many organizations are set up to focus their resources on DOING the work. This often doesn’t leave time or internal resources available spare on things like newsletter management, social media, or collecting client stores. However, these communication avenues have the potential to raise so much awareness (and even funds) to fuel the impact!

Lane grew up near Clarkston, Georgia, a hotspot for refugee resettlement and, in turn, home to one of the highest number of non-profits in a square mile. She’s seen the power of a compelling story firsthand, and sees herself as an amplifier of others’ voices more than anything else.
